Angelika joined the team as a new postdoc coming from our colleagues at the University of Limerick in Ireland.
Angelika did her undergraduate and her PhD at Ulm University in Germany at the Institute of Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Christine Kranz. Her work was focused on the combination of AFM and SECM and the integration of different electrochemical sensor materials in AFM probes for bioanalytical applications.
In 2018, Angelika joined the Scanlon Electrochemistry Laboratory at the Bernal Institute, University of Limerick, Ireland, and worked as an IRC Postdoctoral Fellow on the synthesis of hybrid nanomaterials through electropolymerisation at the ITIES.
Finally arrived at the Institute, she will work with Julia on paper-based liquid/liquid electrochemistry, but will continue to work in collaboration with the Scanlon group and will be a great support to liquid/liquid gang in our team.
