This week we have a new postdoc in the group, Dr Suchanat Boonkaew, who also goes by her nickname Meen. She will be working in the UPTurn project concerning electrochemistry in microfluidic systems.
Dr Boonkaew got her PhD from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, where she was working on miniaturized analytical systems for diagnostic applications including paperbased analytical device, electrochemical immunosensor, and biosensors. During her studies she also visited the lab of Chuck Henry at Colorado State University.
The process of moving across continents has become significantly more difficult since the start of the pandemic, but we are very happy that Meen finally managed to join us and look forward to working together during the next years.
