We’re very happy to welcome our new postdoc, Ewelina Kuna, to the group. Ewelina did her PhD at the University of Bologna and then spent some time as a postdoc at the Catholic University in Leuven, Belgium. Her work has been focused on photo-catalysis, and this is a topic that she will continue to work on in our group. She will combine her previous experience in photochemistry with electrochemistry to explore photoelectrochemical systems for solar energy capture. Her research will be done in collaboration with her previous institutions in Italy and Belgium.
Ewelina is the first of our postdocs in the PD2PI project funded through the European Union’s COFUND programme.
