Martin just came home after visiting the 15th ECHEMS meeting organised by Prof. Gunther Wittstock and Prof. Mehtap Özaslan from the University of Oldenburg. The conference took place in the old spa-resort Bad Zwischenahn just outside Oldenburg. The conference was very well organised and the general scientific standard of the presentations was very high. The ECHEMS meetings are very good for promoting discussion by keeping (most of) the participants together in a single location (and, in this case, providing free beer!).
During the meeting Martin gave and oral presentation of the work done on the Photooxidation of Tris on TiO2 nanotubes. The slides from his presentation can be found here.
